My Story

I am the author, character creator, and founder behind Brave-Next Books. I create stories that help children navigate big feelings, everyday challenges, and the brave next step that comes afterward.

I write each story and develop its characters and visual world, beginning with original hand-drawn designs. I then use AI-based illustration tools under my creative direction to develop, review, and refine the finished artwork.

I’ve always believed that stories can change the way children see themselves.

As a mom, I’ve watched firsthand how a single story can spark a meaningful conversation, build confidence, or help make sense of big emotions. Those quiet moments inspired me to create books that children love to read—and that families love to read together.

Through Brave-Next Books, I hope to create stories that celebrate courage, kindness, imagination, and the everyday moments that help children grow.

Why I Create

I create because every child experiences moments of uncertainty, excitement, joy, disappointment, and wonder.

Stories give children a safe place to explore those feelings and discover that they're not alone.

If one of my books helps a child feel a little more confident, a little more hopeful, or a little more understood, then it has done exactly what it was meant to do.
